Happy 1st Birthday My sweet little Brooke

My sweet darling niece & goddaughter Brooke is 1 yr old.

Before I know it, she will be going off to school, then driving, then dating.

Stop the clock, it's happening way to fast!!!!!

Where has the last yr gone. She has change so much I can't believe my eyes.

This is very a late post. Brooke actually turned 1 on the 4th Oct 09.

But I couldn't let her 1st Birthday pass without posting anything. Even if it is almost a month late.

 presents for me!!!!

 

I love the pun Aunt Claire had put on the cake "To a "1"derful Girl", to cute.

 

Brooke loves sparkley things so the sparklers on her cake were right up her alley.

 I think Brooke just found her new favorite food......Chocolate cake. Yummy!!!!

I can't believe that one year ago today I watched the birth of this little cutie. I remember how tiny he was I could hold him in one arm. Now look at my little godson Noah he's 1 yr old today.

02.05.09 - TERRI & JEFF

I had the honour of going to Sudbury, Ont. a couple weekends ago to shoot Terri & Jeff Black's wedding. What a wonderful and fun couple.

I spent the whole weekend with this lovely couple and there family & friends and I had a great time. I didn't feel like the photographer, I felt like one of the family. Thank you both for making it so much fun for me!!

It's funny how you can love something so small so much, I love them both very,very much and am honored to be a god parent to two precious little beings!!

Brooke Maella Natalie Bertrand

  Re my post from the 3rd Oct 08 advising that my SIL had gone in to labor.

Brooke Maella Natalie Bertrand was born on 4th Oct 08 @ 1:28am weighing 8lbs 8oz

Both Mom & Baby are back at home and doing well.

My brother is on cloud nine at home with all his girls Roxy, Brooke, Kayla

Noah Pierre Victor Butler

One of my best friends and fellow partners in crime (crime being all the money we spend on photography stuff) Julie Butler honored me with the job of being God Mother to her son.

I had the pleasureof witnessing Noah's birth on the26th Aug 08 as well as capturing the event as a keepsake for Julie & Dave.

I got the call.....

 at 624am.  It's finally happening, after being 10days overdue. My brother & sister in-law are at the hospital. My little niece may be born today.

So may or may not know that my Brother & Sister In-law are expecting a baby girls any day now. Here's a look at Roxy (SIL) back in May

 

I have to share bcuz he's so darn cute. Mr Cameron in AH!! of the water fall at the Barrhaven water park. He loves the water park but doesn't want to have anything to do with the water or getting wet.

The Countdown to my departure

Dear blog followers,

Please except my sincerest apologies for neglecting my blog all summer. I have no excuse except that it's been one crazy summer!!

So to make up for my neglect.  I'm going to post once a day, maybe even twice a day for the next 11days. To bring my blog up to date and show you what I've been up to all summer. You may ask WHY!! 11 days. Well that's how many days I have left before I depart to go overseas to work for six months.
